CDFI
CDFI is a small molecule inhibitor of the lipid II flippase MurJ, thereby blocking cell wall biosynthesis in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) . It is utilized in research to study bacterial peptidoglycan assembly and to investigate novel antimicrobial strategies in both in vitro and in vivo models of MRSA infection.
