(In Vitro) :Stachyose tetrahydrate inhibits Caco-2 cell proliferation and induces apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner.Stachyose highly promotes proliferation of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) by inducing LAB to produce more α-galactosidase to hydrolyze stachyose.
