EIF4E-IN-6 (Compound 4b) is a guanosine monophosphate analog that acts as a cap-dependent translation inhibitor by disrupting eIF4E-mRNA cap binding. It exhibits cytotoxic activity in vitro against Caco-2, HepG-2, and MCF-7 cancer cell lines with IC50 values of 31, 27, and 21 μM, respectively, supporting its use in oncology research.
