Alfuzosin
Alfuzosin is a selective α1-adrenoceptor antagonist that relaxes smooth muscle in the lower urinary tract. It is widely used in research models of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), including investigations into bladder function and ejaculatory physiology in both in vitro and in vivo studies.
