Cylindrospermopsin
Cylindrospermopsin is a cyanobacterial hepatotoxin that inhibits protein synthesis and the UMP synthase complex, leading to genotoxicity and cell death. It is widely used in research to study hepatotoxicity, DNA damage mechanisms, and cyanotoxin effects in both in vitro cellular models and in vivo toxicological studies.
