4-Borono-L-phenylalanine
4-Borono-L-phenylalanine (BPA) is a boron-containing amino acid used in Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) research. It selectively accumulates in tumor cells, such as melanoma and glioblastoma, and upon neutron irradiation, induces localized cytotoxic effects, as demonstrated in preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies.
