Traxanox is an orally administered diuretic small molecule that enhances phagocytosis of yeast granules by rodent peritoneal immune cells in vitro. It also restores suppressed antibody production in BALB/c mice in vivo, making it a useful research tool for immunomodulation and inflammation studies.
