Copper histidine
This research compound, copper histidine, inhibits the Ctr1 transporter to block oxaliplatin uptake in vitro, yet does not affect platinum accumulation or neurotoxicity in DRG tissues in vivo. It is a key agent for studying copper metabolism, Menkes disease, and mechanisms of platinum-based chemotherapeutic resistance and neurotoxicity.
