PDCD4-IN-1 is a small molecule inhibitor of PDCD4 with a Kd of 350 nM. It has been shown to upregulate brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression in HT-22 hippocampal neuronal cells in vitro, making it a useful research tool for neurobiology and neuroprotection studies.
