This small molecule anticancer agent demonstrates potent activity against multiple cancer cell lines, including A549 and T24 cells, by inducing apoptosis via caspase 3/8/9 activation, increasing intracellular Ca2+ and ROS, and reducing mitochondrial membrane potential. It has also shown efficacy in suppressing tumor growth in a T24 mouse xenograft model, supporting its use in oncology research for both in vitro and in vivo studies.
