HCAIX/XII-IN-6 is a potent, orally bioavailable carbonic anhydrase inhibitor with high selectivity for tumor-associated isoforms hCA IX (Ki=4.1 nM) and XII (Ki=7.7 nM) . It is used in rheumatoid arthritis research and has demonstrated efficacy in reducing disease severity in preclinical in vivo models of inflammation.
