Pulixin
Pulixin is a small molecule inhibitor that blocks FREP1 binding to disrupt malaria transmission to mosquitoes (EC50 = 11 μM) and potently inhibits asexual blood-stage P. falciparum proliferation (EC50 = 47 nM) . It is a valuable research tool for studying malaria parasite biology and transmission-blocking strategies in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
