Fuzapladib (IS-741) is a phospholipase A2 inhibitor that suppresses Mac-1 (integrin) expression, preventing inflammatory cell adhesion and tissue infiltration. It has been investigated in experimental models, including canine and rodent studies, for acute pancreatitis and associated systemic inflammation.
