BDCRB
BDCRB is a small molecule inhibitor of the human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) terminase complex. It disrupts viral DNA maturation by inducing the terminase to bypass its normal cleavage site, resulting in the packaging of excessively long genomic concatemers. This mechanism makes it a valuable tool for studying herpesvirus replication in vitro.
