Butyzamide
Butyzamide is a novel, orally active small molecule thrombopoietin receptor (Mpl) agonist. It stimulates cellular proliferation and activates JAK/STAT and MAPK signaling pathways in vitro, and has demonstrated efficacy in elevating platelet counts in mouse xenotransplantation models.
