Aminocarnitine
Aminocarnitine is a hypoglycemic and antiketogenic small molecule that inhibits fatty acid oxidation by targeting carnitine acetyltransferase (CAT) and carnitine palmitoyltransferase (CPT) . It is used in metabolic research to study lipid metabolism in models of diabetes and energy homeostasis in both in vitro and in vivo experimental systems.
