BMS-214662 hydrochloride

BMS-214662 is a nonsedating benzodiazepine-derived farnesyltransferase inhibitor with antineoplastic potential. It blocks protein farnesylation, disrupting Ras-mediated signaling to induce apoptosis in tumor cells, including those with and without Ras mutations, as demonstrated in both in vitro and in vivo cancer models.
