ZK-Thiazolidinone (TAL) is a potent and selective ATP-competitive inhibitor of PLK1 (IC50 = 19 nM) . It disrupts mitotic processes like centrosome maturation and spindle assembly in vitro, leading to prometaphase arrest in vivo, and inhibits proliferation in various human and mouse tumor cell lines.
