Cinuperone
Cinuperone is a D2, alpha1 adrenergic, and sigma receptor antagonist that selectively inhibits dopamine agonist-mediated behaviors in the limbic system. Its development as an antipsychotic was halted due to orthostatic hypotension. It is used in research to study dopaminergic pathways and receptor interactions in both in vitro and in vivo models.
