Fazarabine
Fazarabine (Kymarabine) is an orally-active aza-cytidine arabinoside analog. Its active triphosphate form incorporates into DNA to inhibit synthesis, inducing tumor cell death, with efficacy dependent on tumor deoxycytidine kinase levels. It has been investigated in preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies for hematological malignancies and solid tumors.
