Eprociclovir dihydrate

Eprociclovir dihydrate (A-5021) is a potent acyclovir analogue with broad anti-herpetic activity, demonstrating approximately 15-fold greater potency than acyclovir against EHV1 and other herpesviruses in vitro. Its efficacy extends to in vivo models, such as murine herpetic keratitis, where topical application effectively reduced clinical symptoms and viral replication.
