L2-b

L2-b is a bifunctional small molecule that targets amyloid-beta (Aβ) pathology by chelation of copper and zinc. It inhibits metal-induced Aβ aggregation, disrupts pre-formed aggregates in AD brain homogenates, and reduces associated reactive oxygen species in cellular models, thereby improving neuronal cell viability. This makes it a valuable research tool for studying metallobiology in Alzheimer's disease.
