GGTI-2166 is a selective geranylgeranyl transferase I (GGTase I) inhibitor that blocks RANKL- and TNF-α-induced osteoclastogenesis and TRAP activity in murine MD and RAW 264.7 cells. It prevents protein geranylgeranylation, making it a valuable research tool for studying bone resorption, inflammation, and Ras-related signaling pathways in vitro.
