Nuclease S1
Nuclease S1 is an endonuclease that specifically degrades single-stranded DNA and RNA, and can trim overhanging single-stranded ends from double-stranded molecules. It is widely used in molecular biology for applications such as mapping RNA transcripts, analyzing DNA structure, and preparing blunt-ended DNA for cloning in both in vitro experiments.
