Isoglobotriaose
Isoglobotriaose (Gala-3Galb-4Glc) is a glycosphingolipid found in mammalian tissues and is an analog of globotriaose. Its ganglioside derivative, isoglobotriaosylceramide, is used in research to study tissue-specific glycolipid distribution, notably its exclusive localization to the non-epithelial compartment of the small intestine in contrast to globotriaosylceramide.
