ICMT-IN-54
ICMT-IN-54 (compound 7c) is a 12.4 μM inhibitor of isoprenylcysteine carboxyl methyltransferase (ICMT), demonstrated by its inhibition of BFC substrate methylation in yeast. This adamantyl-based compound is a useful chemical probe for studying protein prenylation and methylation in cancer and cardiovascular research, applicable in both in vitro and cellular assays.
