GK718 is a selective HDAC1/3 inhibitor (IC50: HDAC1=259 nM, HDAC3=139 nM) that increases acetylated histone H3 levels in cellular assays. It has demonstrated efficacy in an in vivo model, reducing Bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice, supporting research in epigenetics and fibrotic diseases.
