8-iso Prostaglandin F3α
8-iso PGF3α is an isoprostane generated from the non-enzymatic peroxidation of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) . Unlike its analog 8-iso PGF2α, it shows no activity in human platelet TP receptor assays. This compound is used as a research biomarker for oxidative stress and in studies investigating lipid peroxidation pathways in vitro.
