AZD6918 is a potent and selective inhibitor of Trk tyrosine kinases. It blocks BDNF/TrkB-mediated protection against etoposide and inhibits TrkB-driven cell migration and growth in neuroblastoma models, as demonstrated in both in vitro and in vivo studies.
