Nabumetone Alcohol
Nabumetone alcohol is the precursor form of the NSAID nabumetone. It is rapidly metabolized in vivo to its active form, 6-methoxy-2-naphthylacetic acid, a preferential COX-2 inhibitor. This small molecule is used in research to study inflammatory pathways and NSAID metabolism in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
