XR3054
XR3054 is a farnesyl protein transferase (FPTase) inhibitor that suppresses proliferation in certain prostate and colon cancer cell lines and blocks ras farnesylation and MAP kinase activation in transformed cells. Its broad antiproliferative effects, which are not exclusively ras-dependent, suggest activity on additional signaling pathways relevant to oncology and cell biology research.
