Etanidazole
Etanidazole is a 2-nitroimidazole radiosensitizer that enhances radiation cytotoxicity by depleting glutathione and inhibiting glutathione transferase. It has been investigated in preclinical in vivo and in vitro studies for its potential to image hypoxic, treatment-resistant tumor regions.
