DHA-paclitaxel
DHA-paclitaxel (Taxoprexin) is a prodrug that conjugates paclitaxel to the fatty acid DHA for targeted tumor delivery. It inhibits microtubule disassembly and Bcl-2 function, blocking cell division and inducing apoptosis. This agent shows enhanced pharmacokinetics and antitumor efficacy in preclinical in vivo cancer models.
