It effectively blocks key angiogenic functions in human retinal endothelial cells (HRECs) in vitro and demonstrates significant efficacy in vivo by inhibiting choroidal sprouting and suppressing choroidal neovascularization (CNV) lesion volume. This makes it a valuable research tool for studying ocular angiogenesis and related pathologies.
