Myclobutanil hydroxide
Myclobutanil hydroxide is a fungicidal agent that acts by inhibiting 14-α demethylase, thereby disrupting ergosterol biosynthesis and fungal cell wall formation. It is used in research on antifungal mechanisms and has also been studied in vitro for its secondary effect on steroidogenesis, including testosterone synthesis.
