TriN2755
TriN2755 is a hydrophilic and photostable triazene-based prodrug with antineoplastic properties. Upon metabolic N-demethylation, it generates reactive carbocations that alkylate DNA, causing cross-links and inhibiting replication, which leads to apoptosis. Its favorable toxicity profile makes it a candidate for research in chemotherapy, including in vitro cytotoxicity studies and in vivo tumor model evaluations.
