Afegostat TFA
Afegostat (Isofagomine, AT2101) is a pharmacological chaperone and potent acid β-glucosidase (GCase) inhibitor (K (i) ~30 nM) investigated for Gaucher disease. In vivo studies, such as administration in mouse models (e.g., V394L), demonstrated increased GCase activity in visceral tissues and brain, supporting its research use in lysosomal storage disorders.
