RB-005 is a potent and selective sphingosine kinase 1 (SK1) inhibitor with an IC50 of 3.6 μM. It induces SK1 degradation in human pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells and is a valuable research tool for studying proliferative diseases like pulmonary arterial hypertension in vitro.
