ATV399
ATV399 is a small molecule inhibitor that prevents inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) dimerization. It protects rat pancreatic β-cells from cytokine and high glucose-induced dysfunction and apoptosis by inhibiting caspase-9 activation, as demonstrated in relevant in vitro models of diabetes research.
