Navamepent (RX-10045) is a resolvin E1 analog with potent anti-inflammatory properties, effectively reducing corneal inflammation and promoting tissue repair in dry eye models. It inhibits pro-inflammatory mediator release in corneal epithelial cells and has demonstrated efficacy in accelerating tear production and reducing goblet cell loss in preclinical studies.
