CDKI-83 is a potent and selective CDK9 inhibitor with anti-proliferative activity (GI50 <1 μM) in tumor cell lines. It induces apoptosis in A2780 ovarian cancer cells, evidenced by caspase-3 activation and sub-G1 accumulation, suggesting potential as an anticancer agent through combined CDK9/CDK1 inhibition.
