Valinomycin
Valinomycin is a potassium ionophore and cyclic depsipeptide antibiotic. It is widely used in research to study mitochondrial membrane potential and mitophagy, as it activates PINK1 and induces Parkin phosphorylation at Ser65 in both cellular and biochemical assays.
