5β-Dutasteride
5β-Dutasteride is the (S) -enantiomer of dutasteride and acts as a potent dual inhibitor of both Type 1 and Type 2 5α-reductase isozymes. It is widely used in biochemical research to study androgen metabolism in models of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and androgenic alopecia, both in vitro and in vivo.
