Bavisant dihydrochloride hydrate
Bavisant dihydrochloride hydrate (JNJ31001074AAC) is an orally active, highly selective human H3 receptor antagonist investigated for cognitive and wake-promoting effects, including in ADHD clinical trials. While a Phase II study showed dose-dependent improvement in ADHD-RS-IV scores, the highest dose (10 mg/day) did not achieve statistical superiority over placebo. Its research applications extend to studying H3 receptor function in neuropsychiatric and sleep-wake disorders.
