BPH-1358 free base
BPH-1358 free base (NSC50460) is a dual inhibitor of bacterial undecaprenyl diphosphate synthase (UPPS; IC50 = 110 nM) and human farnesyl diphosphate synthase (FPPS; IC50 = 1.8 μM) . It exhibits in vitro antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus with an MIC of approximately 250 ng/mL, making it a useful research tool for studying bacterial cell wall biosynthesis and isoprenoid pathway inhibition.
