Carpaine
Carpaine is a natural alkaloid with antimalarial activity, showing an IC50 of ~4μM against P. falciparum in vitro. It also exhibits cardioprotective and anti-inflammatory properties in research models by modulating FAK, ERK1/2, and AKT signaling pathways and reducing oxidative stress.
