Ceranib1 is a cell-permeable ceramidase inhibitor that induces the accumulation of endogenous ceramides and reduces sphingosine and S1P levels, thereby suppressing ovarian cancer cell proliferation in vitro. This tool compound is used in sphingolipid metabolism research and oncology studies investigating ceramide-mediated apoptosis.
