GSK2245035 is a potent and selective intranasal TLR7 agonist that preferentially induces Type-1 interferon (IFNα) over TNFα. It is utilized in immunology research to study antiviral responses and allergic inflammation, having been shown to inhibit Th2 cytokine production in human cell-based assays.
