JTT 551

JTT 551 is a selective PTP1B inhibitor, with Ki values of 0.22 μM and 9.3 μM for PTP1B and TCPTP, respectively. It is a research tool for studying type 2 diabetes mellitus and has been utilized in both in vitro enzymatic assays and in vivo metabolic studies.
