PF-0463481 is a safe, orally bioavailable dual CCR2/CCR5 antagonist with potential for diabetic nephropathy research. It exhibits potent human and rodent CCR2 blockade (rat IC50=20.8 nM) and moderate rodent CCR5 activity (rat IC50=470 nM), supporting its use in both in vitro mechanistic studies and in vivo disease models.
